Peter Kramer
Massage Therapist
I am a Massage Therapist and Tutor at the Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork. An awareness of the physical in relation to wellbeing has always been key for me. It’s my passion and love for bodywork that led me to engage in the art of Ki-Aikido for over 20 years. This influence is felt in my approach to therapy and also in my teaching.
I believe in the wholeness of our human experience, a wholeness that integrates and activates all of our felt senses. When our innate body intelligence is engaged, we can experience presence and create a responsiveness, inner balance and harmony that leads to effortless connection with ourselves, others, and our environment. It is that presence that is so much needed in meeting each other with curiosity, patience, tenderness and love.
My other work and life experiences include working and studying in social care, training and working on organic farms, training, leading and setting up organic artisan bakeries. I have 15 years experience of working in organic farming, including 9 years living in Camphill Community where I completed my farm apprenticeship and then went on to be Farm Manager at the Grange Village and later at Ragmans Lane Farm, a permaculture centre. I have also spent a good 8 years as an artisan baker, co-creating Wild Yeast Bakery, running the Grange Bakery for the Camphill Village Trust, and co-founding the Forest Bakehouse in Longhope.
