Personal Assistant
I was born in Chile and was raised in a very natural, holistic manner, connected to Pachamama. Our culture and lifestyle is very much connected to nature and we have the belief that nature has everything that we, as humans, need to thrive. As a child we grew our own foods, cooked fresh meals each day and made our own medicine from herbs, roots and eating the rainbow in every meal. This is a way of living passed down through our ancestors and I have always felt that the western way of life was a bit backwards in thinking that humans were above nature! I have always wanted to encourage others to live how we did.
I arrived into the UK as a political refugee with my mum and dad at the age of 18 months. It was just us 3 and thousands of other Chileans that had arrived on foreign land without our immediate families so we became a community, a support system for each other, in order to keep our own culture and connection with nature alive. It's due to this that I am a great believer that great good comes from creating unity and support within communities. That we as individuals have the duty to nurture each other in order to heal and thrive.
Many of us refugees had experienced huge trauma before and after arriving into the UK. At the age of 30 I discovered that even though I was so young that I, my family and my life had been hugely impacted by this trauma. So, I took a journey into healing and self-discovery with Reiki, Nichiren Buddhism and other holistic practices. I am now a Reiki Master, Reflexologist and a natural healer. I also have my own brand of CBD products.
I have had a huge sense of empathy since I was 2, feeling others emotions and thoughts instinctively. I have had the power of foresight since I was in single figures and I’ve been able to have outer body experiences since I was 6 which confirmed to me that we were so much more than the vehicle we reside in, we are energetic beings. I’ve been a barefoot walker since learning to walk; a tree lover and hugger through my connection with the forest as a child, a lover and nurturer of people. I feel I am stepping into a true purpose by being a part of Back on Track.
I have over 30 years of experience as a Virtual Assistant providing support to CEO’s, Directors, Management and Project Teams . I studied Business & Finance upto University level in London. From 16yrs old to late 20’s I only worked within Blue Chip organisations; this was influenced by my teachings at uni and the belief that I could only succeed as part of a corporate institute.
At the age of 30 my belief system around economy and industry changed and I felt drawn to supporting small, local independent businesses in the creative, arts, holistic, sustainability and community fields. Areas that truly resonated with my upbringing and my own personal belief system. This is how Unleash Virtual Assistance was born. I was the first VA in Bristol. My mission was to “unleash” business owners from their back office, administrative responsibilities in order for them to “unleash” their potential in the areas that they loved.
