PEOPLE & PLANET HEALING TOGETHER

THE MEDICINE IS IN THE CONNECTION

REWILDING
Recovery

Rebuilds & Revivals Meaning:

A key aim of BoT is to support individuals in a communal setting, alongside other men  who may have lost direction in their recovery from addiction. We guide them toward ReViving their journey with a firmer foundation from which to relaunch and rebuild a better quality of life for themselves

Welcome to Back on Track (BoT).

We deliver recovery based courses for men, incorporating communal experiences promoting the long term benefits of self-development, alongside rewilding of the environment - highlighting the need for mankind and nature to heal in unison.

We aim our carefully-crafted timetable of holistic group activities and interventions toward recovery, rebuilds and revivals - for those who feel a sense of loss in the wake of austerity-lead closures of residential addiction treatment centres across the UK, like Chandos House in Bristol.

REWILDING RECOVERY EXPLAINED

re·wild·ing (ˌ)rē-ˈwī(-ə)l-din
(Cambridge Dictionary)

The process of protecting an environment and returning it to its natural state, for example by bringing back wild animals that used to live there: Rewilding runs directly counter to human attempts to control and cultivate nature

re·wild·ing (ˌ)rē-ˈwī(-ə)l-din men
(BoT Dictionary)

The process of protecting traumatised men and returning  them back to their natural state, for example by bringing back the optimism that once came naturally to them: Rewilding runs directly counter to a man's attempts to control and cultivate his persona through substance misuse

The Rewilding of Men - A Path Back to Ourselves

In a world where the essence of true connection and purpose has been buried beneath layers of expectation, it’s time to rise, rebuild, and rewild. This is not just a call to men but a rallying cry for all of us - a return to authenticity, strength, and balance. The rewilding of men is not about reclaiming power, but rediscovering what it means to live in harmony with ourselves, each other, and the world around us. It’s about shedding the constraints of societal norms and finding freedom in vulnerability, strength in humility, and purpose in connection. When men step into their truth, embracing their raw, untamed, and compassionate selves, we all get back on track. Families thrive, communities heal, and societies begin to mend. This is not an individual journey; it’s a collective reawakening. It’s about grounding ourselves in the here and now, connecting to nature, and remembering what it means to be fully human. The rewilding of men is the reclamation of balance - the restoration of love, empathy, and resilience. Together, we rise. Together, we heal. Together, we return to the wild beauty of our shared humanity. Rewild, reclaim, rebuild. Let’s get back on track - together.

EINSTEIN ONCE STATED:

"Look deeply into nature and you will understand EVERYTHING better."

The Magic of Aliveness

One of the most beautiful human experiences is a deeply open and vulnerable conversation.

Beyond all spiritual and mental pretences, hearts revealed, and our raw humanity exposed; all parts, embraced. This is where we touch upon the real magic of our aliveness

Nurturing Renewal

"There is a profound parallel between caring for ourselves and caring for the natural world. Just as nature needs nurturing to heal from damage and disturbance, we too can find restoration and strength through connection with the outdoors. Nature provides us with clean air, water, and spaces to relax, reflect, and be inspired. By giving back to nature, clearing invasive plants, protecting fragile habitats, we improve the environment and also create a healthier, more hopeful space for our own growth and renewal."

What our clients say

NO HARM TO SELF NO HARM TO OTHERS

“Working alongside Back on Track has been an inspiring experience. Horticulture is a powerful tool for recovery, providing structure, mindfulness, and a deep connection to nature. The men who engage in our regenerative gardening programs not only learn valuable skills but also cultivate patience, resilience, and self-worth. It’s incredible to witness their journey as they nurture the land and, in turn, nurture themselves. The foundation’s holistic approach truly empowers individuals to heal and grow in every sense.”
